Throwback Thursday....Tinkerbell!!!

So, my very favorite princess has always been Tinkerbell! When I was a little girl, I had the Tinkerbell make up. When I had my daughter, Kaitlin, I bought Tinkerbell whenever I could find her. She even had an adorable Tinkerbell poster in her room. Even now as an adult, I have a Tinkerbell steering wheel cover, baseball cap, and purse. She's just so cute and sassy! I was very excited that Emma's challenge this week was to use this cartridge. My hubby was sweet enough to get it for me a couple of months ago, but I still had not used it yet. I thought about this card a lot this week. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do it. I knew that it would be hard to do a tiny Tinkerbell with all of those little parts, so I decided on a shadow, and the card developed from there. I imagined Tink in Pixie Hollow at night time sprinkling Pixie dust on all of the sleeping flowers. I wanted a night sky and a full moon. I am very excited with how this card came out! I had the best time making it!

Card recipe:
Cricut Tinkerbell Cartridge
Recollections cardstock
Martha Stewart daisy punch
Martha Stewart leaves punch
Marvy Circle punch
Gems from the Dollar Tree
Sakura Gel Pen
Mono Aqua
Pop Dots
Xyron Sticker Maker
I cut Tink at 3.5, I believe. I used the filagree cut for her. I cut the "A Little Sparkle" sentiment at 1.75 inches. For the flowers, I punched two daisies and one leaf for each flower. I layered the flowers with the Mono Aqua and put the leaf on the back and the gem in the center. I arranged all my flowers and adhered them to the card front with the Mono Aqua. I put the moon and the sentiment on the card. I used the Xyron for the sentiment. I pop dotted Tinkerbell in front of the full moon. Lastly, I used my gel pen to add sparkle to Tink's wings and shoes, the sentiment, her wand and Pixie Dust and the flowers. Looking back now, it may have been easier to bling up the flowers before putting them together and putting them on the card. I think the inside of the card will say "never hurts" or something like that. Thanks for looking and goodnight!
