Paper Cutz Challenge #68

Hey everyone! Time for another challenge at Paper Cutz! This time, you need to create a card, layout or other paper project that is Christmas-themed and you need to use LOTS of bling! Glitter, jewels, pearls-the more the better! Once you get your project finished, head on over to Mary's blog and link it up for your chance at a prize at the end of this month! You can also check out her blog to look at all of the beautiful projects that the Design Team came up with, as well as all of Mary's other blog readers. So, what are you waiting for? Get your bling on!

For my project, I decided to make an ornament. I used my Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge. I cut two snowflakes out of white irridescent cardstock, then one hot pink blacked-out snowflake. I added a turquoise gem to the center of the top snowflake before I adhered all of the layers together. I put a hole in the top of the snowflake and threaded gold cording through for a hanger. Next, I added all of these pretty metallic Dew Drops, then finally, Diamond Stickles. I love how my snowflake came out and can't wait to make more!

  1. Lisa, I love your ornament. The sparkle you added is fantastic. I'm going to be making ornaments with my granddaughter this year and I might have to duplicate your great design. Hope you don't mind. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Very cute and your Sticklers went on purrfectly. I always have trouble with bubbles coming through and ruining the line.
